What’s your bio-age?

This is another way of asking: how young (or old) are you really?

Biological Age or Bioage is considered to be your ‘real’ age, and it gives an indication as to how your body is performing against your chronological age.

Urban Workout conducts free bio-age tests for all its new members. Why? So we can see how you’re doing – and then work with you to reduce your bio-age.

How the bio-age test works

A Bioage test takes into account 3 important health and wellness areas:

  1. Metabolic Function – Body Mass Index, blood pressure
  2. Physical Capacity – Aerobic fitness, muscle endurance and flexibility
  3. Behavioural Factors – Stress, smoking, alcohol, sleep and nutrition

Next steps – how we’ll help you reduce your bio-age

Based on the results gathered across these tests you will be given your Bioage. These results are based on population norms and they are an excellent way to benchmark and track your progress with your health and wellbeing goals.

As some of the results are based on your answers to the questionnaires it is hugely important that you answer them as honestly as possible. Remembering that if your Bioage is then tested in the future any changes can be a true reflection of any improvements you may have made to your lifestyle.

Following this test we will also discuss with you how we can help you reduce your Bioage. In many cases some small changes to your lifestyle can prove that “You Can Grow Young”.
